Sneha Daradmare

Research Fellow, 2023-Present

Dr. Sneha Daradmare completed her Ph.D. degree in Material Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India in January 2019. Her Ph. D. work focused on synthesizing organic-inorganic spheres via Pickering emulsion polymerization and their application in self-healing anticorrosion coatings. After that, she conducted her postdoctoral research at Kyung Hee University, South Korea for about two years. Further, she received a Brain Korea 21 (BK’21) fellowship for another postdoctoral research position at Chungnam National University, South Korea until October 2022. During her postdoctoral research, she prepared several materials using different methodologies.

Later on, her research interest inclined toward battery-related work, and in May 2023, she joined Professor John Irvine’s group as a Vising Researcher. Since November 2023, she has continued her work as a Research Fellow. Her current research focuses on investigating the interactions between solid electrolytes and cathodes for solid-state batteries.
