Alexandra Knebel

PhD Student 2024 – present

Alex holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. Her master’s project focused on the synthesis of spherical colloidal particles and investigating their interparticle interactions. She started her PhD in September 2024 under the supervision of Prof John Irvine and Dr Robert Armstrong. Her project focuses on the optimisation and characterisation of sodium ion batteries for uses in energy storage and in electric vehicles.
