Hongmei Zheng
Postdoctoral Visiting Scholar, 2021 – present
Hongmei Zheng studied expanding surface corrosion process and controlling of pit initiation sites on the anodic foils used for aluminium electrolytic capacitor at Hefei University of Technology, China. She is visiting the University of St Andrews, funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to work with Professor John Irvine. Her research interests focus on the following areas.
1. Fabrication of ordered nanostructured materials as substrates for electrochemical energy storage.
2. The study of aluminum alloys as electrical conductor materials with adding Sc element
