Grant Stone

Grant Stone studied at the University of Strathclyde, graduating from MSci Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering First Class with Honours. His masters thesis was on the development of Lithium garnets as solid state electrolytes for lithium ion batteries, where he was looking at the conductivity of lithium ions through doped garnet crystal structures. From there Grant went on to work with AGM Batteries, now AMTE Power, in the scale up and development of lithium ion batteries. Grant is now studying the optimisation of production processes for lithium and sodium ion batteries.
